Spicy Spaghetti with Chorizo Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 6 oz Chorizo, sliced
- 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon of red chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon of Cumin Powder
- 2 finely chopped roasted red bell peppers
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- ½ bunch cilantro, chopped
Instructions:
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
- In the meantime, heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add Chorizo to the pot and cook for 3-4 minutes until it starts to brown.
- Add garlic, red chili flakes, and cumin powder to the pot and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add sliced roasted red bell peppers to the pot and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add chicken broth to the pot and bring to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat to medium and let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper according to your taste.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain the water and add it to the pot.
- Add chopped cilantro to the pot and toss everything together until the spaghetti is evenly coated with the sauce.
